Please help me with this: I come across the Magento 2 Checkout Custom Field extension and it seems to fit my request to add field to the checkout page. But I still want to confirm 1 thing, can I add the field in before the billing information?

Magento 2 Checkout Custom Field extension allows you to add field to any place on the checkout page.

To add field in the billing information, choose Review and Payment in Show in Checkout when creating new field. See the screenshot below:
