Auction is the concept of selling goods and services (or products) to the most offering consumer who places his/her maximum bid. Bids are nothing but simple and small incremental amounts which are added to the current selling price of a product(s). Admin can add product for auction and that selected product will show in his Magento 2 store. He can also set start bidding price, start and end date, max price, auction status etc. and he can also set incremental price for particular auction. Incremental price is the price that was added in current bid , so the next bid is that will placed by other customer will greater than the sum of current bid and increment bid. The auction time will extend if admin sets the extend time for particular auctioned product.


Only a logged in user can bid for product . If he placed a bid for product then he got a mail that he placed a bid . If user can placed a maximum bid for the product then user can also got email and also the admin can got email that a new customer will placed a bid. If a customer can update a bid then both customer and admin can got a bid information through email . Admin has an authority to approve/ disapprove the customer bid. Auction winner will inform through email.
