Configurable swatches help you to present products in the most attractive way on your site; simultaneously, it boosts conversion rates because shoppers to quickly access to information such as colors, fabrics, sizes, etc. Also, you can use swatches on the product page, product list, and layered navigation. Just by clicking a swatch, the product image will update automatically. Because shoppers see exactly what product looks like they can make buying decision quicker. Configurable swatches are available in Magento Community Edition (CE) 1.9.1 or later.
