    Default Magento Cpu abuse issue - urgent help needed.

    i would really appreciate if i could get help on this topic.

    in last month my website is getting cashed by hostgator after about 4-5 days. they are telling me to optimize my website. and i am not getting at all how to optimize my website.
    can someone please help me and provide any easy fix for it.

    i have shared business plan and have about 3-5k visitors a day.these statistics may help you to answer my questoin.thanks

    Hostgator is not where you want to be hosting a magento website. They load a ton of users onto each server so there isn't much cpu, ram, disk i/o for each customer. Magento uses a lot of these resources so it's really not a good fit. As others have suggested, a VPS would be more appropriate. If budget permits, a dedicated server is going to provide dramatically better performance, however.

    VPS or Dedicated server will require you have experience with Server management. If you can't take care your server, you should choose shared hosting package, it will include the management fee and they will take care the risk for you.
