Yes you have described it very nicely "Ocodewire" but as per my experience in SEO after Google humming bird update keyword proximity and prominence importance decreased. Once the Magento Development process over then one should focus on product page content and while developing product page content we need to take care of proximity of keywords because it can lead to Panda penalty if keywords are over stuffed in.

Yes I agree... Keywords should not be stuffed and should not be abruptly inserted in between the content. Keywords should be induced as per the flow of content and should be equally distributed throughout the content.
