Two filter options in category page

Hi! I'm working on a magento project where my client wants 2 filter by options; one in left bar(can be done by layered navigation) and the other one above toolbar. Can you please suggest anything about how i can do the filter section above the toolbar?

Default Magento Layered Navigation works only as one block on a page. But there is a good extension - ToBai Extended Navigation. There is an option which makes it possible to show 2 or even 3 blocks with attribute filters on a page. You can choose which of attribute filters should appear in left, right or central block. With this you also get other very useful functionality: responsive price slider, ajax toolbar, ajax pagination, multiple attribute selection, SEO friendly URLs...
