    It 's hosting/server problem, the server need to increase the memory limit of mysql server.

    How to increase the memory limit of mysql server. Please mention query if you have.

    If you are in Linux, you can edit the mysql configuration file here

    To change the timeout you can change these lines

    I have installed magento 1.7 successfully on our server but when i am installing any extension by magento connect then it shows a error massage that is "Couldn't connect to host". Please help me that how can i resolve it.

    This was your hosting problem. I suggest you Cloudways and your website or your web app database never gone or never down.
