I can see a Customer in Database but not in Backend?

One of my customers was complaining he can't login, I can see his details in the database but not in the admin backend of Magento. He also tried registering he's getting the account already exists error, he tried resetting the password nothing is happening.

Any idea on how to troubleshoot this?

Make sure you already clear cache and re-index all, If it still happen, I think you can simply delete the database record to let him register again.

Thanks did that nothing happened so deleted from database and asked him to re-register, I can see him now, hopefully this doesn't happen often
