Tiered Pricing Issue

I have established two distinct customer groups: Retail & Wholesale. I have established tiered pricing for each group. Whenever a customer is logged in as a wholesale customer it shows the wholesale pricing but won't carry the pricing to the shopping cart, only the retail pricing. Any help is appreciated! Using Magento Version 1.7.0.2
