Today I am proud to announce a new Magento extension which would help small and business solve their inventory management headaches at a finger tips. Can you believe?


As you might know, a couple of months ago we release Inventory Management extension. It enables the easiest stock management and minimizes product loss for businesses with a large chain of warehouses and suppliers.


This week we have developed a “lite version” of that Inventory Management extension which can help manage stocks in and out a single warehouse, preferably for small and medium businesses. We named it Magento Standard Inventory Management

It is the first and only Magento Inventory Extension specially designed to fit small and medium businesses. It provides the most basic, easy to use and essential functions of a stock control system.




How Standard Inventory Management extension works


Manage Inventory Products

What is the most important and basic thing that you expect from a stock control system? Knowing what’s in your warehouse and what you have left to sell, right? Our extension not only provides you with such information but also allows you to update stock quantity conveniently right on the Manage Inventory page.


Manage Stock Adjustment

When comparing stock quantity in the Inventory system with the qty. in your physical warehouse, if there is any difference, you can create a stock adjustment to synchronize data. Simply configuring each product or importing in bulk from CSV file.

Manage Stock Receiving

The first step in the stock control process is the receiving of goods which are delivered to the warehouse. It is extremely important, as inaccuracies in the delivery can affect the Qty. on hand and flow through to the whole inventory process. For every stock receiving, you can configure manually or import a load of product by CSV file.

Manage Stock Issuing

Similar to stock receiving, you can create a stock issuing when selling items and the total qty. on hand will be decreased accordingly.

Manage Purchase Orders

As mentioned, the critical stage of effective inventory management is at the receiving part. Thus, our module helps you manage all purchase orders and create a new one with a lot of information, such as: purchased time, Qty. requested, Qty. received, amount spent, payment terms, shipping methods, expected arrival date, etc.

Manage Shipping methods and Payment terms

When dealing with many suppliers, shipping methods and payment terms applied could vary from purchase to purchase. Our module gives you the ability to create new shipping methods/ payment terms that meet exactly your needs.
