Is Google Page rank or Alexa rank more important?

Anyone can give me the answer? Some website have Google Page rank high while Alexa rank is over 100,000 while the other has PR very low (1 or zero) but it's Alexa rank is under 1000. What is better for SEO?

I can say, it belong to many factors, but still, for a very quick look you can think the alexa rank base on the number of traffic of a website in 3 months, the google rank base on the website trust and quality and pagerank index only 2 or 3 times/year but alexa rank index daily.

At a moment:

Alexa rank: 104k
Google pagerank: N/A

The reason why it have no google pagerank because the domain old still too young even though the traffic is good. The last pagerank index of Google pagerank is Feb 2013 and it still doesn't index again until now. But with some SEO tools for pagerank look ahread, you can easy realize page rank for next index of this is ~4

Actually both are important. If your sites current PR is 1 but it have many quality back links, quality content, good internal link structure, it is able to increase PR on next PR update. While alexa rank is update daily. Alexa rank is depend on your daily visitor traffic and quality content.

FYI Google officially discarded "Google Page Rank" from it's list and said "It's never going to update ever in future". So, END OF PAGE RANK ERA. Coming to Alexa rank, I would say it's pretty biased ranking feature, Get bunch of traffic by anywhere go up in Alexa meter. Useless metrics!!!

Alexa only indicates the number of quality backlinks. It increases with the number of quality backlinks received by the website. It's true that nowadays Alexa is getting more importance than PR. PR is just a value to indicate importance of your website.

Yes, now that Google Page Rank is dead, there will likely be a scattering of different metrics that are used to "grade" websites. I know alot of people are referring to MOZ rankings right now but it will be interesting to see if another "standard" rises up.
