Basic steps for magento security

Hello experts, I am new with magento security so I need to know very basic steps to do the security. At least I believe magento core have security good enough, do I need to do any more choice to make it even more security? Or maybe I have to do some other steps? Thanks.

Basically, magento already have a good security enough. You only to take care your server security. If you install third party extension then the security need to care for those extensions too. That 's mean I highly recommend you only install extension what you can trust.
