Actually we don't work with hosting in US unfortunately, but working with US localisation setting this wouldnt bring any difficulties for seo etc.

In my side, A2 Hosting is the 2nd choice for magento site. But yes, their support is really nice too. They are so talent and friendly what will of course help your site work smooth.
