SSL Subdomain Settings

Hi,

My hosting had set my ssl to subdomain (secure.domain.com). May I know what needs to be edit for the index.php in which I have copied at my secure folder (index.php & .htaccess) in order for my ssl to work before I make any changes at magento (system -> config -> web -> secure base url -> https://secure.domain.com. Kindly advice in this matter.

asupian66, you don't need to change anything in your source code (index.php or .htaccess files) in this case. Because the SSL verification is handled by hosting part (not your magento source code part), that 's mean if your hosting confirmed that your SSL work well with your subdomain then it should work well with your magento site after you change secure base url.

Hi,

I have changed the secure base url (https://secure.domain.com) & save config. But it come out /home/xxx/public_html/secure/app/Mage.php was not found. Does it have something to do with index.php that needs editting? I read this article "http://www.crucialwebhost.com/blog/how-to-setup-multiple-magento-stores/#sub-domain-method" that it needs edit the index.php for using subdomain.
