    Default How to manage the prices of your products in Magento

    To change the price of a product, go to your Magento admin area > Catalog > Manage Products. Click on the product the price of which you want to modify and then click the Prices option available in the left menu.

    And here is an explanation for the most important options above:
    • Price - the price at which you want to sell the product; this is the only required field here and, of course, the most important
    • Cost - this represents your cost for purchasing the product
    • Tier Price - through this option you can set discounts based on the quantity of products purchased
    • Special Price - through this option you can set promotional campaigns - discounts which are valid only within the period defined in Special Price From Date and Special Price To Date; this option is not affected by the quantity of purchased products

    Hi!
    Here are some extensions that will help to manage Magento prices and promotions on a new level:

    - Special Promotions will help to create advanced shopping cart price rules;
    - Hide Price and "Add to cart" button from guests or certain customer groups according to your business needs;
    - Tier Price enhances default Magento tier price functionality by setting up quantity based discounts as a percentage of product's base price instead of manual editing of fixed prices.

    Hello, if you have updated your website to Magento 2, then I would suggest some excellent Magento extensions to manage prices
    - Multiple Store View Pricing sets up different price for the same product on each store view
    - Advanced Hide Price allows to hide product price for specific customer groups to fit business purpose and stimulate two-way communication between store owner and customer

    Magento offers some pretty in depth pricing capabilities straight out of the box with the community edition. One of the amazing things about Magento is that you can offer tiered pricing to specific customer groups so that each product can have specific B2B custom pricing.
