According to the theory of the sandbox effect, links which may normally be weighted by Google's ranking algorithm, not least improving the position of a webpage in Google's index, may be subjected to filtering to prevent their having a full impact.

    Hi Friends,
Google Sandbox is generally used for websites which are newly launched and then arouse the suspicion of Google, usually by adding a large amount of new content in a very short period of time. This appears to Google as spam; and the Sandbox is essentially a spam filter which watches for suspicious activity, reasoning that a site which adds enormous numbers of new posts, pages and content instantly is probably filling itself with duplicate content or engaging in search engine spamming.

The Google sandbox or “sandbox effect” is a filter that Google applies to new websites that want to rank in the search results for specific phrases. The filter exists to prevent SEOs and spammers from easily manipulating search results by satisfying all of Google’s major offsite and onsite factors

The Google sandbox refers to a commonly held belief that Google has a filter that places all new websites under restrictions for a certain amount of time to prevent them from ranking in searches.

The idea behind the Google sandbox is that newer websites are not as relevant as older sites, and they are also more likely to be spam. For this reason, they are restricted and allowed to mature before being allowed to rank well, much as a young child is placed to play in a sandbox by his or her caregiver.

Although Google will neither confirm nor deny the existence of the sandbox, it is widely accepted as fact.

Most people describe Google Sandbox as a webspam filter implemented by Google Search to discourage the new websites for occupying a top position in SERP right after the content is published. The common belief is that any website with age under 3-6 months is eligible for being affected by this sandbox effect regardless of the quality of its content, the posting frequency, backlinks and so on. In other words, you can't escape the Google Sandbox no matter what you do and only the time will "heal your wounds.

Whenever you launch a new website on a new domain, Google Sandbox is considered to happen and called as Sandbox effect. However there is no official confirmation yet from Google. It is a time period until which your keyword rankings would be made low which normally extends for a couple of months. This is to ensure the website is not a spam and also to ensure the website is not solely meant for SERP rankings and for generating profit. It is a technique to remove websites introduced through Black Hat SEO practices which involve automatic creation of backlinks in large volumes towards the sites which they want to rank.

The Google Sandbox Effect is a concept used to explain why the areas and newly listed sites rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) for a period of time. In other words, new sites are put in a "sandbox" or a waiting area and pending research notes until they can prove themselves worthy of ranking.
