Flat Rate is one of four kinds of Shipping Method in Magento 2. It is a fixed rate
by owners in shipping. Customers have to pay extra. For all owners, Flat rate
becomes more prominent than ever thanks to its simple and useful. In the part
of the topic, we introduce the process to configure Magento 2 Multiple Flat Rate
Shipping. Hence, before to get Magento 2 Multiple Flat Rate, you need to know
about Single Flat Rate Magento 2. So our Blog is divided 2 parts:

– Configure Flat Rate Shipping Magento 2

– Configure Multiple Flat Rate Shipping Magento 2

Let’s Start!

1. Configure Single Flat Rate Shipping Magento 2

Admin panel > Store > Configuration



Sale > Shipping Methods > Flat Rate




Then the window of Flat Rate Shipping is opened. It is time to fill all the blank required:

Enabled to “Yes”
Title: Flat rate
Method Name: Fixed
Type: You can choose per items or orders
Price: Add price which customers have to pay with this shipping method
Calculate Handing Fee: You can calculate Shipping Free with Fix Amount or percent
Ship to Applicable Countries: You can apply Magento 2 Flat rate shipping for Specific Countries when they use this options
Then Tap "Save config"

2. Configure Magento 2 Multiple Flat Rate Shipping

By default in Magento 2, you can only create single Flat rate Shipping.
If you want to change to another Flat rate, you should edit its name
and number of charge. In case, you don’t want to show Flat rate on
the checkout page, you can disable it. Or you want to apply multiple
Flat Rate in Magento 2, you should install Multiple Flat Rate extension
to do it. The Magento 2 Multiple Flat Rate Shipping configuration Process
is applied same way with Single Flat Rate.
