A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country, sovereign state, or dependent territory identified with a country code. All ASCII ccTLD identifiers are two letters long, and all two-letter top-level domains are ccTLDs.

The top level domain or the TLD which comes in the last part of the Domain Name can be classified into ccTLD and the gTLD. While the gTLD is generic in nature, and does not relate to any geographical location, the ccTLD refers to a country. Each countries have been assigned own domain extension. Thus a ccTLD used after the final period of a Domain Name will guide the search engines and the users about the geographical location of registration of the website.

Country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) are the best way to show search engines in which country you do business.

ccTLD stands for country code Top-Level Domain, and is a category of domain extensions maintained by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) to classify the Internet.

Is there any issue with this forum as it shows the thread question at the bottom while the answers are popping upwards?
