If you offer both version of sites - your users can use http and https, than I would add both.
But in case you are doing 301 redirection from http to https, I would just add the https version of site.

Even in both cases it would not hurt to add http and https version, but I don't see need for it in redirection variant.

You need to submit your website again in webmaster tools with https version. So, add a new site as https://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in .

Do I just submit a updated sitemap which has the HTTPS URLs or Do I add a new site as https://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in and submit the sitemap with HTTPS urls?
Go to Google Webmasters Tool and remove the current property and add new property their with HTTPS and get rid from this problem in simple way.

Once you have upgraded your site with https then, you have to recreate account with new url( with https) in the sitemap. Submit the sitemap through webmaster

You can add multiple verification tags; I have it on my site for exactly the reason you mentioned: Google wants both http & https verified. You'll also want to verify the domain with and without the www. If I remember correctly, Google may assign the same verification code in some cases, so you may not need to add it twice, you'll just need to confirm in your webmaster tools account that the tag has been added so they can check.

As for https, Squarespace rolled this feature out late in 2016, so older posts on the forum may still mention https & SSL as a missing feature.

Google Webmaster Tools treats HTTP and HTTPS as separate sites and you cannot inform Google using Google Search Console, that you moved from HTTP to HTTPS since the address move tool does not support protocol changes. You can though add the HTTPS site versions. When adding a site, simply type the URL including the https:// prefix. You will then have two sites in Google Webmaster Tools.
