    There are so many ways by which we can optimize our content. Here I will suggest some things which are necessary to know.
    a) Keyword density in content
    b) Keyword Proximity
    c) Keyword Prominence
    d) Keyword Proximity

    1. Accurate Page Titles:

    Title tags still remain as one of the most important ranking factors when it comes to on-site SEO, based on many experts’ experience. Using your target keywords in the content’s page title can help improve its search rankings.

    2. Use LSI keywords within the content:

    LSI or latent semantic indexing is a process being used by search engines to identify patterns in the relationships between terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text (as defined by Wikipedia). Basically, this process allows search engines to evaluate the context and relevance of content to a search query based on the related terms being contained by a particular content.

    3. Authorship Markup

    Soon enough, Google may start implementing AuthorRank into their list of ranking factors (or maybe they are already using it) in measuring if a page is worth being prominently displayed on their search results. That’s why building a strong author profile using Google+ is deemed necessary these days to prepare your strategy for future game-changing events.

    4. Length of Content:

    It’s undeniable that longer and in-depth documents are ranking very well on search results. Make your content more comprehensive than what your competitors are offering to push your rankings above them.
    Thought it is also important to ensure that the quality of information within the content will not be over-saturated or be out of substance for trying too hard to lengthen it. 800+ words will do.

    Content optimization is more than using some top keywords in each page. Effective content optimization focuses on using very specific keywords in very specific places to send the strongest possible relevance signals for that keyword target.

    Some methods of content optimization are:

    Keyword prominence: The importance of placing keywords in the most prominent places, is the most important aspect of content optimization.
    Page name: The page name in the content management system influences some very valuable SEO elements like the default title tags for the site, the headline, and the navigational text.
    Title tag: The title tag is the single most important content element on a page for SEO. Title tags are not displayed on the page itself, but are included in the head of the HTML code for a page. Title tags are displayed by browsers in the page tabs at the top of the screen, and can be used as in search results pages as the blue underlined link customers click on to get to your site.
    Meta description: Similar to title tags, meta descriptions can be found in the head of the HTML for each page and do not display as regular content on the page. Unlike title tags, meta descriptions do not influence rankings for organic search. They can be shown in the search result page as the descriptive text for your search result listing.
    Meta keywords: Leave them blank. Meta keywords haven’t been used as search signals since 2009, except as negative algorithmic signals when overstuffed. They clue your competition in to the keywords you’re targeting, and add no SEO value.
    Keyword density is an outdated concept. There is no exact formula for the number of times to use a keyword.
    Keyword prominence is the focus for modern content optimization.

Limit title tags to around 65 characters, including spaces, because that’s all the search engines will display in search results. Since characters after that limit are not visible to searchers, it is thought that their value is less than the first 65 characters. In addition, the very beginning of the title tag is more prominent than the end, so place the exact keyword you’re targeting at the beginning of the title tag and end with your brand.
    Meta description. Similar to title tags, meta descriptions can be found in the head of the HTML for each page and do not display as regular content on the page. Unlike title tags, meta descriptions do not influence rankings for organic search. They can be shown in the search result page as the descriptive text for your search result listing. As a result, using the exact keyword in the meta description along with an engaging call to action can increase clicks from the search results page to your site. Limit meta descriptions to 150 characters, including spaces.

    Website content optimization is crucial for all written text, but it is particularly important for landing pages that include information about other content pieces.

    Title tags: One of the most important elements of website optimization is the title tag. In HTML code, the tag “(title)” is used to set off the page’s title tag, which tells the audience what the page is about in just a few words.


    Title tags are used in a number of places to describe the content. For example, they are used by search engines as the link text for each search result they display. Additionally, they are often used on social media networks to describe the page when someone shares the content. The title tag also appears at the top of the browser when the page is viewed, and if the browser is tabbed, it will be the name of the tab for the page being viewed. As a result, title tags are not just important to search engines; they serve as meaningful ways to describe your page’s content for your audience.

    Meta descriptions: Meta descriptions are typically displayed in search engine results pages (SERPs) as the descriptor text for each result, making it a key piece of information for your audience.

    The meta-description should accurately describe what visitors will find when they click to your content (see REI example below). Successful meta descriptions concisely state the purpose of the content page and include applicable keywords. This is your opportunity to sell searchers on clicking through to your page, so it’s best to avoid generic descriptors, like “Welcome to our home page,” that don’t really tell them anything about your content or give them a reason to click through. In addition, search engines limit the amount of real estate available for descriptions — normally about 150-160 characters. Any text that goes beyond that will likely be cut off.

    Meta keywords: Meta keywords are somewhat similar to meta descriptions. And although the meta keywords tag doesn’t seem to directly help improve page rankings, they have been known to potentially hurt search engine rankings if the tag is “overstuffed.”

    Some webmasters have been known to paste as many keywords as possible into a meta keyword tag, hoping their presence will prompt inclusion in additional search results. However, that is not the case, so it’s best to err on the side of caution and include only a few truly relevant keywords in this tag.

    URLs: A keyword-rich URL provides search engines with even more descriptive information about your content.
