Default Responsive theme and mobile friendly

    Hi,
I have a desktop website and a mobile site (with responsive theme). I check my website curvysea.com on Google Mobile Friendly Test, the result is that my website is mobile friendly. But someone said I need to change my desktop website to responsive theme for s.e.o
So my question is: what's different between responsive theme and mobile friendly?
    Thanks for your answer!

A responsive theme is very different from a mobile website and is usually much more expensive because of the skill and effort that it requires to get it set up. A website with responsive web design is when the graphics and text on a device adjust perfectly to the device you are using. It is not a simple coding process that you can add onto a mobile website. Instead, responsive web design requires you to build from the ground up and include all of the graphics from the full sized website. Responsive web design allows you to choose the locations of certain buttons and lets the developer determine how they would like their website to adjust to different devices. See more at Here

Mobile friendly refers to a site that displays accurately between your desktop/laptop computer and a mobile device such as a handheld phone (iPhone, Android, Blackberry) or tablets (iPad, Kindle, Galaxy, etc.). While it will appear smaller on a phone and may not work perfectly on a touchscreen tablet, a mobile friendly website will be perfectly functional. Many developers view mobile friendly as a “best practice” for all website developments.

Responsive design is a method of developing a site that is completely flexible regardless of device. Rather than detecting a specific browser type or device type, the website automatically orientates itself based on the screen size of the device. A combination of reformatting and re-optimizing the site as a whole give a practical flexibility beyond imagination.

Responsive web design is becoming more important as the amount of mobile traffic now accounts for more than half of total internet traffic
