    you can do following things.

    1) Can you try to increase memory of Server?
    2) put website is in production mode and check again
    3) you should upgrade into 2.3 latest version, It is more stable.
    4) you can contact with me.

    Thanks

    Thank you Vishal,

I will take a look at the 2.3.1 later. Now I need to update to 2.2.8 as it is the most secure version.

    1) I increased the memory_limit to 4096M (I can confirm this using SSH)
    2) My website is in production mode already

Is there a way to debug composer.json? I mean to see what the errors are?

    This is from my SSH:

Loading composer repositories with package information
    Updating dependencies (including require-dev)

mmap() failed: [12] Cannot allocate memory

mmap() failed: [12] Cannot allocate memory

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1945116672) (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in phar:///usr/local/bin/composer.phar/src/Composer/DependencyResolver/Solver.php on line 220
