In Magento 2 Default, all of checkout process has 2 steps: Shipping and Review & Payments which are displayed in two separate pages. - Automatically update information when other related infor changes

- When customers make some changes on their addresses, shipping methods are also adjusted accordingly. In addition, if customers select shipping method again, it is also auto updated in the Order Summary section.

- Delivery date and time Customers are able to fill in the expected delivery date and time based on their needs. Besides, they can leave notes to remind store owners about their orders.

- Multiple payment methods: Most common payment methods are now available in check-out page: Paypal, Authorize.net, Braintree, Payflow and so on.

- Enable a Discount code box, Gift Message options and Newsletter Subscription in the checkout page

- Show delivery date and delivery comment information in the order details from the backend

- In case customers purchase downloadable items, they don't need to fill in their shipping address.
