    Default How to edit the Magento Main Menu, output in top.phtml

    I need to edit the main menu of my magento site. How do I edit the HTML structure?

    I know the magento main menu is output in top.phtml, but how is the structure changed without editing core files.

    What I specifically want to do is add another <li> tag after each link in the main menu (which will contain a seperator "<li>//</li>").
