    Default Magento Product based Margin

Can we create a product group, in which we can assign a margin in percentage to respective group. Group can be created based on the product specification.

    Example :

    Product Group 1 (count : 20, weight : 10Kg) - Margin 10%

    Product 11 : Purchase cost - 100, Margin - 10, Total cost : 110
    Product 12 : Purchase cost - 120, Margin - 12, Total cost : 132
    Product 13 : Purchase cost - 200, Margin - 20, Total cost : 220

    Product Group 2 (count : 25, weight : 25 Kg) - Margin 20%

    Product 21 : Purchase cost - 100, Margin - 20, Total cost : 120
    Product 22 : Purchase cost - 120, Margin - 24, Total cost : 144
    Product 23 : Purchase cost - 200, Margin - 40, Total cost : 240

    Product Group 3 (count : 10, weight : 25 Kg) - Margin 15%

    Product 21 : Purchase cost - 100, Margin - 15, Total cost : 115
    Product 22 : Purchase cost - 120, Margin - 18, Total cost : 138
    Product 23 : Purchase cost - 200, Margin - 30, Total cost : 230

    Thanks

hi, Magneto percentage pricing updates the price of the products on your web store based on the the “Cost + Markup” formula.
Cost is the manufacturer price mostly updated through a csv file or through XML feeds.
Markup is defined by the admin as a fixed amount or a percentage of the cost.

Yes, but this is not a Magento native functionality. You can do it by using percentage pricing extensions by Fme.
With this extension you can create multiple rules to add fix or percentage markup on cost price of products. For each rule you can set certain markup and assign products. You can select products in bulk by their categories, prices, attributes, SKU etc.

You can set a price margin in percentage for each customer or customer group. This margin will used for calculating product price when customers are logged into your store. The final price of product is calculated by this formula:final price=original price*price margin(%)

You can also hide product price if customers are not logged in.This feature allows you to replace price and add to cart button by a "login to view price" button if customers are not logged in.
