    Most likely you’ve searched Google and have noticed local businesses appearing at the top of a page along side a map. This is Google Local.

    This sounds pretty cool. This technique can help to rank your website at the top of the google search results, but proper information should be provided else you could lose your traffic and audience.

    Yes, if you are in any business that also have
    online presence that Google local is must for you.

    Now more and more people started to use google
    to get more information around there.

    Its more important if service man transfer from one
    location to another and in such case they bound to
    use Google to look for their requirements.

    So I definitely recommend to invest some time in
    the google map and get more business.

    I also use Google because my some local clients want to optimize their websites locally. Google local is really helpful for me to clearly know about my local target audience.

    I have used the Store Locator extension for my eCommerce store from http://www.magestore.com/magento-sto...extension.html and find it extremely useful because it helps customers find map and get to my store easily.

    Just listing your business to google local wouldn't ensure google ranking of your listing there are many factors behind this such as
    Good amount of citation containing where-about similar to google business listing.

    Google local listing is best option to promote business on Google search engine easily.
