Default Impossible to add new product attribute option (more than 800 manufacturer)

    Hello,

I've 800+ brands and it doesn't save product option settings successfully when i add a new manufacturer.

It was giving an error related to maximum memory and i increased it to 1024MB but it shows page as loading forever when i click 'Save Attribute' button.

Do you know that how to fix this problem? I can't find an alternative module for this.

(I use an Ajax based extension that adds adding attribute feature easily on product adding page with plus icon but sometimes i need change brand names or delete some of them. So, the extension doesn't solve my problem totally)

    Thanks.

1GB is too small for magento with a lot of products. You can try to increase RAM to 2GB to see the result. I still doubt the server configuration, is it designed for magento? You may try this service http://magentoexpertforum.com/showth...e-and-Security to see if it work, it 's quite easy that you try one year and then if it doesn't work you can request refund. They have the free moving service for you.

Thanks for reply. Yes, it's fully optimised for Magento (http://www.cloudvps.com/community/kn...optimised-vps/) I may try your service if can't solve myself.

CloudVPS is just general hosting company, they don't focus good enough to have dedicated expert team for each opensource. As magento is too special, I think it 's hard to get it work well enough if they don't own the good enough team. I think the second options here http://magento2x.com/top-3-best-mage...-winning-2014/ will match with your need since they are know as a very good provider to handle the big magento site.
