    Default Backend URL error 404

Hi Guys sorry dunno where to post.
    Hi im new here.
Tried posting on Magento Forums but looks like they have a spam issue.
Here we go hope someone can help.
I have Magento 1.7.2 installed, I installed it everything ran nicely went in the backend changed the theme and it was a bit late so i decided ill go on the next day.
Next day got up lets add those products BAM 404 error on backend i used a cusom URL so i dunno if thats the issue.
So i thought great i forgot the custom url started digging got the details on the local.xml and i was right with the url.
Started digging further read up on some values that are wrong in phpmyadmin i changed that to 0.
    Cleared var/cache stilll no luck
Went into phpmyadmin under core_?? cant remember the whole name checked un there and there was no admin url section tried to add it still didnt work i tried so many things already starting to think maybe i must just load a old version of magento then ill skip all these issues.

anyone have a idea what i can do ?

Do you have any report detail in "var/report/"?

JPEG, if I understand right, the problem come from the new back end theme. Then let 's get it back to the default back end theme first. You can edit this file
    Code:
    app/code/core/Mage/Adminhtml/etc/config.xml
And edit the default theme from it or simply move out the current theme folder to another place to get the default theme back.

    I got it sorted
Deleted everything tried had the same issue
Tried again deleting the DB and the user and it worked!
Think it was a db issue somehow had some issues with previous installs so everytime i deleted the db and not the user so i would just add the DB the whole time and add the existing user onto that newly created DB.

Good to know you solved the problem. I guess this kind of problem happen what will be belong to hosting provider, since they didn't do the hosting control panel friendly enough
