Difference Between link Bait & Link Pyramid?

I had confusion in link bait and link pyramid. can anyone explain me what is the difference between the link Bait and Link Pyramid.

Link Bait is a technique which has call-to-action for clicking on the link in an article or blog.
Link Pyramid is a structure of group of backlink or linking site to the targeted site.

Link bait is any content or feature, within a website, designed specifically to gain attention or encourage others to link to the website. Matt Cutts defines link bait as anything "interesting enough to catch people's attention." Link bait can be an extremely powerful form of marketing as it is viral in nature.

Link Pyramid means level of link building. There are 5 levels of link building and in every level you have to do different link building like in 1st level you have to directory,Bookmar submissions after that in next level you try different link building technique.

Link bait is any text or content that you are using to encourage people to link to you (hence 'bait')and A link pyramid is just another form of link farm.
