Click-through rate (CTR) is a measure of the percentage of clicks advertisers receive out of total ad impressions.
Click-through rate (CTR) is an incredibly important concept in search engine marketing. The simplest definition is that click-through rate is the percentage of people who click on your ad after seeing your ad.
Anyone who's ever even dipped a toe in the performance marketing ocean has heard of CTR. CTR, which stands for “Click-Through Rate”, is a calculation of how many people clicked on an ad (clicks) divided by the number of times the ad was shown (impressions).
