POSITION
Senior Magento 2 Developer

SALARY
$120K+ experience dependant

LOCATION
NYC (no remote opportunity)

EXPERIENCE/ PREFERRED SKILLS
● One to three years of Magento 2 experience
● Experience building Magento 2 modules
● Deployed 2+ Magento 2 high volume websites
● Good understanding of MVC frameworks, LAMP Stack, jQuery, Version Control (GIT / SVN)
● Ability to define and follow best practices
● Experience supporting, maintaining, and debugging in high volume production environments
● A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

GREAT TO HAVE
• Linux/Unix server knowledge: grep, AWK, Bash Scripting, Crontab
Experience migrating sites from Magento 1 to Magento 2
• Experience with JS frameworks (React / Vue)
• Understanding of caching mechanisms such as Memcache/Redis/ElastiCache
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Very strong computer and internet skills: Gmail and Microsoft Office required
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to commute to NYC.

Currently looking for a passionate, smart, and articulate Senior Magento 2 Developer to help build and support our core software products and services. *While not a requirement, managerial experience and/or experience working with local as well as remote teams are of interest*

You will be responsible for:
● Neat, efficient, and well-documented coding practices
● Explaining technical concepts to Project Managers in a clear and concise way
● Version control experience (SVN / GIT)
● Enthusiasm and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies
● Re-factoring legacy code as well as building custom features from scratch
