a link farm is any group of web sites that all hyperlink to every other site in the group.
On the World Wide Web, a connection ranch is any gathering of sites that all hyperlink to each other website in the gathering. In diagram theoretic terms, a connection ranch is an inner circle. Albeit some connection ranches can be made by hand, most are made through mechanized projects and administrations.
Link farming is the process of exchanging reciprocal links with Web sites in order to increase search engine optimization. The term link farming has garnered negative connotations across the Internet.
A link farm is a website (or a group of websites) created only for the purpose of increasing the link popularity of another site by increasing the number of incoming links. A link farm usually looks like a regular web page, but the majority of the content is hyperlinks -- often random and unrelated -- to other websites.
Basically, link farming is a black hat activity so it is better you dont attempt it :)
