Hello Friends,
Please tell me, Can you differentiate between ‘nofollow’ and ‘dofollow’ link?
dofollow: give the google bot instruction index link
nofollow: give the google bot instruction noindex link
Dofollow links will drive high value and simply boost your ranking search engines too fast, nofollow don't have that much impact on search ranking.
no follow means search engine bots dont follow website
do follow means exact opposite to no dofollow
do follow are indexed by search engines but no follow are not indexed by search engine, no follow does not help in site ranking
Nofollow links attributes do not allow search engine bots to follow link. That means if the website owner is linking back to you with nofollow attributes, it does not pass on link juice. Only Humans will be able to follow the links. Though some time back Google made it clear that they don’t consider nofollow link attributes but weightage of such links are really less. Even though, it’s a good practice to use Nofollow link attribute to those link, where you don’t want to pass link-juice.
Example of Nofollow Link:
a href=”http://www.google.com/” rel=”nofollow”>Google</a
Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. Giving us link juice and a backlink. If a webmaster is linking back to you with this link both Search Engine and Humans will be able to follow you. The best way to give someone dofollow love is allowing keyword in the anchor text. This means when you are linking to any website or page, use the targeted keyword as anchor text.
Example of Dofollow Link:
a href=”http://www.google.com/”>Google</a
Follow Links
Follow links are links that count as points, pushing SEO link juice and boosting the page rank of the linked-to sites, helping them go higher in the SERPs as a result.
NoFollow Links
A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs.
