How to import Taobao products in Magento?

Taobao is giant in China. They are providing API to get product information. How to import their products in magento. so checkout process works.

I haven't tried it but it talks about an export template or something, I guess you could use this method and convert all your product data to the template format.

If there is API for the products export then there should be a possibility to import the products into Magento-based store. It is important to keep correct file format for import. You can use some kind of a transition module that would connect both sites and their databases and allow export/import of the products.
